Our journey began many years ago, when we were just young lads taking our first steps into the world of work at a family-run butcher shop. It was here that we discovered our passion for the craft and began learning the art of butchery. Over the years, we had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented mentors who not only honed our skills but also instilled in us a deep respect for the tradition and craftsmanship of the trade.
As we progressed in our careers, we worked tirelessly to climb the ranks, first as apprentices and eventually to the role of butchery managers. Each step along the way was a learning experience, shaping us both professionally and personally. Through dedication, hard work, and the guidance of those who came before us, we gained a wealth of knowledge that we knew would one day serve as the foundation for something much bigger.
With a combined experience of over 30 years in the butchery sector, we reached a point where we felt the time had come to take the next bold step in our journey. It was time to take the leap, to combine our expertise and vision, and build a business of our own. And so, with a shared determination and passion, we set out to create a butchery that not only honors tradition but also brings a fresh, innovative approach to the industry.
Danny Finney
My journey began many years ago, right after I finished school. At the time, I was just a young lad looking to earn some pocket money for the weekend. But as I started, I quickly found joy in the daily tasks and the interactions with customers. The more I learned, the more I wanted to progress in the trade, and so my path took shape.
I worked my way up in the local butcher shop, starting as a floor cleaner and errand runner, and eventually managing the shop. After just a few months, I knew that my ultimate goal was to have my own little shop – it became my dream.
Fast forward 20 years, and that dream is slowly turning into reality. The years of learning from my colleagues and friends in the trade have shaped me into who I am today. The best part of this trade is that it never stops evolving. There’s always something new to learn, new products to create, and new flavors to explore.
Our journey is only just beginning, and I want to personally thank every customer who places an order with us, no matter how big or small. Your support means the world.


Adam Holmes
My journey into butchery began in 2014, after I left school and started working full-time at a jukebox company in Leeds. I spent the next decade there, working my way up and gaining a diverse understanding of the business. After ten years, Danny, who was already advancing in the industry, informed me about an upcoming job opportunity. Eager to step out of my comfort zone and embrace a fresh challenge, I decided to take the leap, and that’s when my butchery career truly began.
At first, it was a challenge, diving into something entirely new. But I quickly found my rhythm, learning from some incredibly talented individuals who reassured me I had made the right choice. The interactions with customers and the camaraderie with the team made each day enjoyable, and I looked forward to going in every morning.
Now, I’m embarking on a new chapter—owning and running a business with a friend I’ve known since high school. In the short time we’ve been at it, we’re confident we made the right decision. Our goal is to build something we can all be proud of, alongside our loyal customers
